Deposit + COD: Deposit charged after carrier approval. Balance paid to driver.
Pay in Full: Full amount charged after carrier approval.
4. Cancellation
Before carrier assignment: No fee, $1 auth voided. After carrier assignment: $250 cancellation fee.

Before any carrier is assigned to your shipment, they pass through our rigorous verification process and receive a Bigfella Trust Score. You see it before dispatch.
Every carrier must hold an active USDOT number and MC operating authority with the FMCSA. Active status required — revoked or suspended authority is an automatic disqualification.
We confirm current cargo insurance coverage meeting our $150,000 minimum requirement directly with the carrier — we don't take their word for it.
We check FMCSA safety ratings and inspection history. For carriers we've worked with, we track on-time rates, cancellations, and customer complaints.
We confirm the carrier's equipment matches your shipment requirements — open/enclosed, multi-car, etc. No last-minute surprises about trailer type.
