Enclosed transport uses a covered trailer. It is the usual conversation for classic, exotic, luxury, and freshly painted vehicles, and for owners who want extra protection from weather and highway debris.
It generally costs more than open transport because enclosed trucks carry fewer vehicles and there are fewer of them. In the Direct Quote, enclosed is a $380 add-on when you select it — not a fee invented after booking.
Enclosed is not a guaranteed faster transit. It is a different piece of equipment. If the lane is short on enclosed trucks that week, we will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
