What is expedited auto transport?
Expedited auto transport is a premium shipping option designed for customers who need their vehicle moved on a tighter timeline than standard transportation.
Expedited service can involve prioritizing your shipment when arranging a carrier, depending on carrier availability, route demand, vehicle type, pickup location, and other factors. It is not a promised calendar date.
When does expedited shipping make sense?
Expedited transport may be useful when:
- You are moving on a tight schedule
- You purchased a vehicle that needs to arrive quickly
- You need a vehicle for work
- You are relocating
- Your normal transportation plans changed
- You need additional coordination for a time-sensitive shipment
Does expedited mean guaranteed delivery?
Not necessarily.
Auto transport depends on carrier availability, weather, traffic, road conditions, vehicle accessibility, and other factors. Expedited service is intended to prioritize coordination and carrier availability rather than promise an exact delivery time.
Bigfella focuses on clear communication and keeping customers informed throughout the transportation process. Pickup and delivery are still typically arranged door-to-door when the truck can access both locations.
Expedited vs. standard auto transport
Standard shipping is generally the best value when you have flexibility. Expedited shipping may make sense when getting your vehicle moving sooner is more important than minimizing the transportation cost. Most daily drivers still move on open car transport even when expedited matching is selected.

Frequently asked questions
Does expedited shipping guarantee a delivery date?
No. Expedited service is intended to prioritize coordination and carrier availability. Weather, traffic, access, and truck supply can still change the window.
When is expedited worth considering?
When a tighter timeline matters more than the lowest transportation cost — for example a relocation, a purchased vehicle that needs to move, or a work vehicle you need sooner.
Is expedited the same as White Glove?
No. Expedited / Express is about prioritizing matching. White Glove adds a dedicated coordinator and more hands-on scheduling. Neither one promises an exact pickup minute.
